Policies & Disclaimers
Policies & Disclaimers
These disclaimers cover manufacturing realities, consultation advice, uploaded files and content, and the kinds of requests we cannot accept. They sit alongside our Terms of Service.

Manufacturing & tolerance disclaimer
Manufactured parts vary. Tolerances, material finish, strength, surface quality, dimensional accuracy, and color can differ depending on the process and material chosen. Unless we agree specific written requirements in advance, parts are produced to typical standards for the selected process.
- Quotes are subject to manual review, and feasibility may change after we review your files.
- We do not guarantee a part is manufacturable until we have reviewed it.
- You are responsible for confirming that a part meets your functional, fit, and safety needs.
Consultation advice disclaimer
Consultations provide practical design, prototyping, and manufacturability guidance. This advice is informational and is not certified engineering sign-off, inspection, or professional certification unless we state that explicitly and in writing. You remain responsible for final decisions about your design.
Safety-critical use
Our standard services are not intended for life-critical or safety-critical applications (for example, uses where a failure could cause serious injury). We do not support those uses unless they are separately agreed in writing and reviewed in advance.
Uploaded files & customer content
When you upload a file or design, you confirm that:
- You have the right to upload and use it, and to have it manufactured or reviewed.
- You remain responsible for design ownership, permissions, and any third-party rights.
- We will use your files only to quote, manufacture, consult, communicate, and support your order.
- Files may be reviewed by our team and — only if the service expands and this policy is updated — by approved manufacturing partners or checkers.
Prohibited requests, materials, and files
To keep the service safe and lawful, you must not request, upload, or ask us to make:
- Anything illegal or anything that infringes someone else's intellectual property or other rights.
- Weapons, weapon components, or items restricted or prohibited under applicable law.
- Items intended to cause harm, or designs for dangerous or restricted goods.
- Counterfeit items or anything that misrepresents another brand.
- Executable programs, scripts, or files containing malware or other malicious content.
We may decline or stop any request that falls into these categories, and we may decline anything we are not comfortable making. When in doubt, ask us first at garage.robotics03@gmail.com.
These policies and disclaimers are a plain-English draft and are not legal advice. They should be reviewed by a qualified lawyer before being relied upon.
